Ring Live View Not Working? How To Fix

Ring doorbells should provide a live video feed. Try one of these fixes if you’re experiencing problems with Ring Live View not working. Ring doorbells are leading smart home devices enabling you to answer the front door with audio and video remotely. When your doorbell rings, you should be able to view a live stream from the doorbell camera showing who is at your door. Then, you may react. Check Ring Wi-Fi Strength

Check Internet Speed

Check Power Supply

A faulty power supply on your Ring Device might also cause live View issues. Through the Ring app, you can check the power of your device. To check the power status of your Ring Device.

1 – Open the Ring app. 

2 – Tap the Menu symbol in the upper-left corner of the display.

3 – Tap Devices. 

4 – Choose the device that is having Live View issues. 

5 – Tap Device Health. 

6 – Under Power, the transformer voltage for wired devices or the battery level for battery-powered devices will be displayed.

7 – If you tap on Transformer Voltage, the current-voltage will be displayed.

Replacing the battery when your battery is low may fix Live View problems. However, if your power is low, you may have to replace your power source or check it is correctly connected.

1 – Reset the Ring device by pressing and holding the device’s setup button for thirty seconds.

2 – Remove the Ring device from your account and configure it anew.

4 – Delete the app from your phone, reboot your phone, then reinstall the app.

5 – Turn off the VPN if it is installed on your mobile phone.
